A Tribute to a Double Dose of Olsen

I'm a tad late, but better late than never... June 13, 1986 I'm sure no one foresaw the diaper crawling rugrats of Full House transforming into business moguls, revolutionizing the designer world and dressing up celebrities like their own Barbie dolls.. Through the media ups and downs, the (now) 24 year-olds have spread their influence from the movie and television industry into the designer world..

Although many criticize their personal everyday wear as "garbage lady chic", they always seem to win back the admiration of stylistas all over the globe. Contrary to popular belief, these girls are definitely in the know of high-fashion. Their choice for a day's wardrobe is based on their mood for the day: grunge, uptown chic, menswear, vintage, hippie, etc. They clean up nicely, when they want to of course... I want to believe that their inspirational ideas for their refreshing lines: Elizabeth & James and the Row are all cooked up in some secret compartment in their brains. I'll take a number in line with the many who wish to pick their fashionably genius 'noggins.

Hey, don't they say.. it's the ones that dress the least like the part who have the most comprehensive knowledge of their doings? No one said Andy Warhol was a looker, but he sure knew how to leave an artistically unique imprint on the world.

In light of their birthday, here's a tribute... a look at some of the (new and old) looks I adore..
