Back from 5 Days of New York

It's been a while since my last post, I took a mini-trip to New York, a place I would like to say makes me feel more at home than my own home in LA. 5 days were enough to charge me up for what's to come to get back out there sooner..

Although I went to visit friends, take in the city breath-by-breath, and shop til' I dropped... I also went to scope out some new inspiration for the line. Get ready, 'cause there are lots of new, exciting ideas I brought back with me for the next few Queen Bee of the Scene pieces!

Until next time, here are a few looks under my radar from the past week or more...

Can't get enough of Sienna... Here's Sienna and her hubby, Jude at the Ivy in London. Always fresh and dressing-of-age... she's the cream of the crop representation of London fashion (okay, other than Kate Moss of course).

Okay, I had to throw in another one of Sienna.. she does the travel-look right..

Isabel Lucas, the young star who's character from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, attempted to seduce Shia Lebouf's character, Sam was probably not completely loved by female fans in the movie... But you know, outside of the movie... I love her everyday look.. I'm normally not a fan of denim-on-denim. Usually, repulsed by the idea... but she manages to do it right with contrasting shades of denim and a billowy denim acid-wash button-up that looks almost like it's not even denim. Oh, and I'm loving those heavy, rugged looking boots..

Jessica Biel looked impeccable... absolutely love, love LOVE the black-laced corset like waist accent against the romantic, whimsical dress. Suitable and elegant with a sexy appeal..

Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester taking a break from filming their new movie together... Although Leighton looks a little drab, her ensemble is lovely.. I love the blue-jay bit peeking out from her peachy dress and dark taupe high-waisted belt. It adds a spruce of color to contrast the neutral palette giving the overall look an off-to-Italy-for-vacation look.

Okay, and of course... Olivia, always gets the romantic look down pat... she's never afraid to mix maroon or antique-ish shades of color with her neutral, romantic pieces.. And her German model hubby? They always seem to tastefully dress like the perfect couple, the Mr. and Mrs. of the fashionably chic..
