Dear Readers,

I'm back from a wonderful hiatus full of winter festivities! I spent my December days surrounded with my greatest supporters and loved ones. I must say, 2010 was a great year for me and I have a hunch that 2011 will be even more promising... I hope you all had a fabulous New Years! As promised, here's a peek at my chosen ensemble to top off 2010... yay or nay?

The jacket was so appropriate to toughen up the look! I have to give credit to my sister who understands my personal taste quite well! The grommet and studded detailing on the right is perfectly off-beat from the button detailing on the left... definitely one of my top Christmas gifts ever...

On a separate note, I wanted to take the time to thank you, the readers! From the bottom of my heart, I am so appreciative of the time each of you take from your busy lives to skip by this blog and read the entries.. whether it's during your lunch break, a quiet night at home with your pup, or with your morning coffee...

Now, on with a massively, long awaited post! Blame it on awards season...

Golden Globes -2011: Many stars walked the red carpet in nudes and pinks! Bring in the spring! Of course there were some "what-were-you-thinking??"s but, only kind words are shared here.. so, their big slap of couture punishment is omission. Here are my list toppers:

Megan Fox in Armani Prive. This gown hugs her in all the right places. The strategically binding upper bosom area looks feminine, sexy, and glamorous while the slit appropriately adds an extra dash of feminine appeal.

Leighton Meester in Burberry and sparkly Jimmy Choos. My eyes hit this photo and my breath was quickly whisked away. She looked simply breathtaking in this Victorian-esque gown. The daring yet demure slit prevented the Victorian vibe from looking too Dr. Quinn stuffy, and of course, was necessary to show off those gorgeous Choos...

Lea Michele in a ruffled Oscar de la Renta number, sure to make any girl dream of cupcake frosting.. simply delectable and age-appropriate. Call me detailed, but what I loved about her look was the mint green gold encrusted ring on her finger. It added a fun play of color against her gown...

Sandra Bullock in Jenny Peckham... This is probably the first time I have ever seen Jenny Peckham really make a big mark on the red carpet. This gown is as romantic as a classic fairytale. Only peeve I have is that her hair was too mod for the gown it almost dims all the sparkle potential! Instead of blunt bangs, I would have preferred her hair in a low chignon to at the nape of the neck to elongate her neck and show off the beautiful draping in the neckline.

 Clare Danes in Calvin Klein

Sarah Hyland, 20, of the television series, Modern Family, in Max Azria Atelier. Now, this young lady has caught my eye for a while. She always looks stunning at events. For a 20-year-old, she knows what will translate well in photos. So well in fact, I believe more experienced, leading ladies should learn from this new generation muse...

Scarlett Johansson in a glittering Elie Saab number

InStyle's Golden Globes Afterparty

Odette Yustman in a silk chiffon, one shoulder gown with a draped front by Pamella Roland.

Rumer Willis

Emma Roberts

Nina Dobrev

Recent Red Carpet Looks

Darling Duo: Ashley Tisdale and Selena Gomez

Demi Moore: G.I. Jane exchanged her rugged combat boots for something more lethal: stilettos and a fierce, fierce, fierce Carven black number at the premiere of her man Ashton's newest film on the common, yet unspoken matter of 'special friends' with No Strings Attached.

I don't care how she's aged, Cameron Diaz still wears the edgy minimalist look best... Always stunning with the same bubbly persona and vitality from her Something About Mary days, the twinkle in her eye never fades.

Camilla Belle in Alberta Ferretti

I'm not used to saying this... but Katie Holmes looked more than decent with her longer locks and Audrey Hepburn-esque dress at the Golden Globes nomination. Perhaps playing Jackie O in the yet-to-air "the Kennedys" helped?

Burnt Orange tones have been creeping onto the red carpet this year... Contrary to many disbelievers, this shade is actually quite flattering, rich, and looks very flattering on brunettes especially..
Kim Kardashian in Vera Wang

Selena Gomez in Paule Ka

I absolutely love seeing Kerry Washington in this blue from head to toe.. If only she could sing or was a secret wrapper a la Nicki Minaj style.. she'd give Keri Hilson a taste of diva presence...

I loved seeing Minka Kelly in this flirty and Spanish inspired dress... smoldering, yet sweet... few can pull such a mix off, but apparently her hubby Derek Jeter approves..

Kate Bosworth in Burberry Spring 2011

Rachel Bilson in Zac Posen... another fashionista who knows what works and what doesn't work with her body proportion. Absolutely breathtaking...

Rachel McAdams: I love this shade of green against her pale, flawless skin, perfectly complementing her golden locks. But I'm not a fan of the cut of the Geren Ford dress... it doesn't seem to sit right and I don't believe it can look flattering on anyone no matter your figure...

This dress by Isabel Marant however, is more flattering for her figure and gives her the sweet and classy appeal.

Isabel Marant Fall 2010 Royal Blue Sequin Me Please!
Call it a tribute to the disco era, I don't care... I am so in love with these funky royal blue, sequined pants... I have been craving for it! Only the truly daring can pull this off with confidence...
As seen on Jessica Alba in a photo spread and Blake Lively at the Vegas opening of the newest club, Marquee at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!

Now, for Everyday Looks I am inspired by:
